Project Scope
The design philosophy for Project Culbert centred on restraint and quality. Rather than relying on visual abundance, the space was built around the integrity of individual materials and the tension between them: how a warm textile reads against a cooler stone surface, how natural light shifts the character of a room from morning to evening.
Each room was treated as a considered composition, with furniture scaled precisely to the architecture and finishes selected for their depth and tactile quality. The result is an interior that rewards close attention, revealing detail and craftsmanship that accumulates over time rather than announcing itself immediately.
Project Culbert was delivered as a complete and cohesive residential environment. Custom furniture pieces were specified and produced to exact dimensions, ensuring the spatial integrity intended at the design stage was maintained throughout execution.
