Project Pegasus was a shortlet home designed in Magodo Phase 2, Lagos. The aim was to make the apartment accommodating and hospitable to a wide range of persons with different tastes, designed to be a home away from home for people from different walks of life, with the end goal of increasing patronage and customer retainability for the client.
Project Scope
Designing a shortlet property presents a specific challenge: the space must feel personal and welcoming to many different kinds of guest, without belonging so strongly to any one taste that it alienates others. For Project Pegasus, the solution was a palette of warm neutrals and soft accents: approachable and comfortable, with enough design character to feel considered rather than generic.
Practicality was embedded into every decision without compromising the aesthetic. Storage is generous, surfaces are durable, and the lighting scheme allows the space to shift from a productive working environment to a relaxed evening setting with ease.
Project Pegasus was completed as a shortlet apartment with genuine hospitality appeal. The design succeeds in feeling like a home rather than a rental unit, an important distinction that directly supports guest satisfaction and return bookings.
The client received a property that is not only visually compelling in its listing photography but genuinely enjoyable to stay in.
